With a Master's degree in chemistry from St. Louis University, Tom Fleming founded the pharmaceutical company that bears his name in 1960. For more than five decades, Mr. Fleming's scientific prowess complemented his unique ability to envision and develop new products based on his discussions with physicians. Well known nationally in the medical community, Mr. Fleming remained active in the daily management of the company until his death in 2003. Today second- and third-generation family members at the company carry on the founder's legacy of innovation and uncompromising standards in pharmaceuticals research and development, manufacturing, and sales.
